What we do
Drug Prevention Resources envisions a drug-free generation.
Our mission is to create a drug-free generation through
collaboration, innovation, education and advocacy.
Our vision is possible!
Drug Prevention Resources was the first non-profit agency to help communities form strategic coalitions in Texas. In 2015, we celebrated 80 years of service.
The organization was initiated by pioneers in prevention who implemented what are still some of the most successful prevention approaches today--individual education, capacity-building and environmental change.
Drug Prevention Resources continues to be a leader in the prevention field, regularly updating approaches to provide the latest strategies for youth, families and communities to be safer, healthier and drug-free.
Although the agency has regularly responded to statewide initiatives, its primary focus is on high-risk populations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
